Vogue 5777 Finished

Vogue 5777
Vintage Vogue 5777

I finished this vintage pattern that  was given to me in a pattern
swap by: Busy Lizzie..  She had made this dress, and I fell
in love with it. Sorry my photos didn't pick up very well. The
navy and white check  really blurred. The pattern went
together really well. The fabric
was  a knit that I had in my stash... I put red handmade piping in the
neck. I covered the buttons with a red  fabric. I also
made the belt that came with it.[But, it just didn't work
for me, so I used a RTW belt , I already had].Check
out  Lizzie's dress she made.. Thank you Liz for the pattern.

  7. Good Morning Sweetie!

You look so beautiful! Great job on the dress...the pattern is adorable! I like the red belt choice as well...really great accent. And are you really standing outside with short sleeves on??? Is that green grass I see on the ground??? How dare you! We haven't seen temps above zero for over a week now (okay, a little drama there, it did actually move up to 10 degrees one afternoon...but I'm having a little pity party, so bear with me!) We are on our way to the airport now to pick up one of the boys...he is coming home from a week in Florida... and if he dares show up with a tan...I just might leave him at the airport! LOL!

Hope you and Kenny are both well. I'll send you an e-mail soon...

    Hugs,
    Laura

Now.. going to FLorida and coming home with a tan.. I think you might need to leave him at the airport..that is just toooo unfair.lol
      Doing good here. Talk later,

  12. This is wonderful, and what a great fit! I am so pleased how it turned out for you. Lovely job!!
I found the belt with the pattern to be pretty short for my waist, so mine is longer :)

    1. Thank you Lizzie. I love it. My fabric didn't show up well in the camera.. I think that is what happened with my belt too.. It was too short. Next time , I will know to lengthen it ..
