Vintage Simplicity 5259

Simplicity 5259
Black/white daisy print fabric [from stash]
white eyelet for sleeves [from stash]

Close up of fabric used.

  I  used a vintage pattern that I had used previously.. therefore,
the fitting was done for me.
I didn't have enough of the daisy fabric for the sleeves
so, I used white eyelet.
  Don't  you think a yellow cardigan , when the  weather
gets chilly , will be pretty?

I used  4 1/2 yds  of fabric from my stash.

      Thank you Ellie Rae. I liked the Daisy print too.. However, it wasn't enough for the sleeves..So , I had to come up with another plan.

    Yes, a cardigan would look lovely - so this will be a lovely dress when you move into autumn (fall). The contrast sleeves are a nice touch - the dress looks a little like a pinafore dress.

    You have changed the blog - this one is easier to read :)

      I did change my blog,[one of my blogging buddies ,told me, she could hardly see it].. I am computer dumb.. and I go to hitting buttons and mess stuff up.lol So, I am always happy when someone tells me, I have messed up.

    This dress is darling Judy! I love the accent of your yellow belt and the eyelet sleeves. Yes a yellow cardi is in your future. The dress is such a nice and flattering fit on you. Very pretty indeed!
