Simplicty 5104 - December 's Garment of the Month

                             December rolled in here so fast..  Lots of sewing going
                             on, but not for me.. I really didn't expect to post a
                             December garment.. But. I made it.. Yea!!

Aline Skirt
Red and Black Corduroy

Tiny waistband, elastic in back. Side zipper.
Used 2 1/2 yds from stash.
 I have made this skirt several times.. So the fit
was already done. It will be a nice  /warm
skirt . I have several sweaters that I can
wear with it..

    It is very pretty. Corduroy is such a warm fabric!

    Darling! I love corduroy, love the red sweater with the skirt. I am not going to make the challenge this month. I did lots of sewing but none for me... The next project is another birthday dress for a granddaughter.

    Oh Maw I love it! I just bought some corduroy fabric yesterday from JoAnn's. Such a cute skirt and the sweater matches perfectly. Hope you had an enjoyable Christmas with your family (I know, a little late). Wishing you and your family a healthily and prosperous New Year!

      THank you... I had this corduroy for a couple years..[Now.. I am wondering why I didn't sew it sooner? ha] It is so soft and warm. Happy New years to you and family too.

    Beautiful skirt Judy and the perfect fabric for the cold months. I love the red sweater with the skirt, just such a nice pop of red. Glad you were able to make something for yourself in December!

    Thank you much....The skirt is Simplicity 5104. It is an older pattern. Probably out of print now. I have had it a long time, and have made lots of skirts from it.. Love the fit..
