had ,about 30 yrs ago.. We went to the fabric store, and Cindy,
who was 9 or 10 at the time, picked out the fabric to make
this quilt ..It was going to be a comforter for her bed.. I pieced
each block by hand. I even sewed all the strips together and
got the quilt top made..
HOWEVER:
It never got quilted? Why--- you ask? I don't know!!
It ended up in a box , put away, and rarely thought
About. I saw it a few months back, and decided to have
it machine quilted by a friend of mine. Yesterday, I decided
to get it out and hem it..
SO
After 30 years.. I will be giving this quilt to my baby
girl .[who is now 40]
Can't wait until she comes to visit , so I can give it to her. She will be shocked!!! She has teased me for years, about never finishing her quilt!!! ha |
