New Look 6129- Skirt

New Look 6129- Skirt with pockets

The fabric was from my stash,  A cotton blend with some stretch,
which I found at the flea market a couple years ago.. My intentions
was for this to be a muslin,  But it was so comfortable, I decided
to wear it to town to run errands today.. It will definitely be a
wearable muslin. And I will be making another one. Love the two
                                   front pockets.

Sarah Liz, the  MAGAM challenge, author, made this pattern
awhile back.. It was so cute, that I went and bought the pattern..
So happy , she shared this pattern.

                                   Happy sewing.

  14. Love the skirt, dear friend! I, too, am a big fan of pockets...I need them for clothespins, chicken eggs...you name it! That's why I often wear an apron around the house and yard. By the way, I want to come play in your tree house out back! What fun that would be!
Hope all is well with you and yours...
    Miss you,
    Laura

  16. Love it that you "thought" this was a muslin. You got it right the first time on this one, the fit and the fabric. I too love a skirt with pockets and you can't beat comfortable!!
