Tv Table turns Mini Ironing Board

Mini Ironing Board

 I didn't come up with this cute idea... I saw it on Pintrest..

 I  painted my brown wood tv  table white.  Then 
covered it with  stuffing and a pretty
blue/pink/white floral  chic fabric.  This mini
ironing board is fantastic ,sitting next to my 
sewing machine, it is very handy to press
the seams ,as I sew. It is also a very handy
 pin cushion!!

.  I also covered one of the chairs in my sewing room.

 I used 1 1/4  yards of fabric from my stash..

    What a great idea! Seems like it would be the correct height, too, to use while seated.

      Thank you Nicole.. It is just perfect for sitting by the sewing machine--- and ironing the seams or collars, pockets ,etc.

    I love this idea - so handy. I'm going to have to investigate how to do something like this. With all the small clothes for the children you will use this a lot :)

    Good Morning Dear Friend!

    I know it has been FOREVER since I last visited...please forgive me! I LOVE this idea! We have a couple of tv trays that I was thinking of putting in a yard sale...but this would be such a handy idea...setting it up right next to the machine while sewing...you're a genius, girl!

      Hi Laura, It has been a long time. I missed you. But, I so understand.. Life is so busy here too.. I haven't been blogging or reading blogs.. And I sure miss my friends. I enjoyed this tv tray project.. SO easy and fun. It works perfect by the sewing machine, for ironing the seams as you go..

    I have this pinned on Pinterest to lol! it does seem to be the right size for small projects, especially while working on quilt blocks

    Isn't Pintrest great for ideas? I really like this one. It's a good way to effectively use stash, too.

      Yes, I love Pinterest... It has really been a great tool , put next to my sewing machine.. It saves a lot of foot steps.ha
