The Little Girl Who Loves Minnie Mouse

Minnie Mouse Dress and Doll Dress

I made this dress & matching doll dress , for  a specail little girl named Mia. She is turning
four years old. Happy Birthday Mia.

You see she loves the cartoon character Minnie Mouse.. So what better fabric than
this sweet minnie mouse print? The border is a red & white polka dot [since Minnie
is decked out in red & white polka dot.] I then added a black gross grain  ribbon
trim around it.

What fun to sew for the little ones!

  5. Dear Judy,

You just keep amazing me, girlfriend! I really think you should consider opening your own "shop"...you have such a talent and an eye for picking out fabric and colors. You make me want to be a little girl again...so I could wear Minnie!

How's your sweetie doing today? We think of you both often...

    With love and prayers,
    Laura

But, I too.. love the minnie fabric.. Reckon me and you could do us one and sport it to church???????? [THINK NOT...they would definitely laugh at us or turn us away.hahahhaha]

    2. Now, Judy, have a little courage here...I'll wear it to church if you will!!! We just might start a new trend!

Sorry to hear that Kenny is still fighting this nausea...I've always thought that there is nothing worse than that feeling. Do crackers help? Have you ever baked homemade crackers? They seem to really help me and mine when we are "under the weather..."

As for my parents...well, my father is hoping that the house will sell now that it is in Yankee...and so he is drawing and searching for house plans. We had talked about a small place on our property...sort of like a "dawdi haus"...unfortunately, the ideas he is coming up with are bigger than what they have now...and it is hard to talk to him about this. So...we keep "keeping on" as the saying goes...and thank the Lord for each day He gives us with them. We love them so much...but sometimes it gets a bit frustrating... (okay, enough complaining!)

Just let me know when you'll be sportin' the Minnie...I'll be right behind you! (taking pictures!) LOL!

      Love,
      Laura
