Sewing Projects in Process

Adding lace pocket and  lace around hem line, of
some cute stripe RTW  t-shirts for Emily & Callie.
 I saw these shirts in the mall, they were expensive.
So, I found some cute tees, bought some lace
at Hancock's [with my 40% off coupon].
Simple summer top for me.. Will be doing view A.
I have had this strawberry fabric in my stash for awhile.
Not sure where I got it? It is a cotton with a small
amount of  stretch. This will be a loose fitting
top. Nice and cool for summer.



While I was doing the lace tees for the girls, I decided
to make myself one.. [Didn't have enough lace to
go around the hem line, so  I just got a pocket..]

    sounds like fun sewing times ahead, the girls will love their tee's , love the strawberry print, it looks liek it will be cool & compty, this summer , I'm going more fruity & aminal print lol!

    Goodness, those t-shirts are cute, cute. And like you have nothing else to do? Did I ever tell you how many items I knit in a certain 4-5 month period? Get some rest, girlfriend!!! D.

    You were busy. Do you have anything in the works now?

    I was surprised how expensive fabric was when we chose the fabric for my new dress. Even on sale, it was nearly fifty dollars with thread! It's hard to find clothing fabrics in Joplin area that are nice. They have little child patterns and lots of formal attire fabrics, but little for dressmaking. I ended up with quilting fabric. I'll have to take a photo and put it on the blog soon.
