2016 Goals for My Upcoming Year

Christmas is behind us.. It was fun and  I totally
enjoyed the decorating, cooking and the time spent with my family.  But now..........the decorations have been put away
for the year [but ... Christmas 2016 will be here before you know it. ha].It's time to   make some goals..

 Goals for 2016

1- Make my monthly budget and remember to follow it as closely as possible.

2-Organizing [I have my house up for sale, and are redoing an older house ,we will be moving in to-  So... I am on a standstill
with this goal.. as, I will have to get moved first] I am making plans for the other house .

3- Remember to do my monthly meal plans as this really helps with  grocery budget. "Try" to eat and feed my family healthier meals.

4- Remember to take the extra time to spend with my husband, children and grandchildren.. Time is going so fast, every minute with our family is so important..  I have to remind myself.... its ok, to leave the house or yard work for  a time.. It will be there, once you spend that hour or two with the ones you love.

5- My sewing goal this year is to ............. sew some things for me, and to sew some things for the house.. [curtains, cushions, etc]

6- Garden..... enjoy the spring..  and enjoy our garden and be thankful , that we have the place and the heath  to have it.

7- Thank God for our health and remember to always pray for the ones in need.

Hope you all have a wonderful  and blessed year.

  1. Lovely list of goals Judy! Especially about enjoying family.

Grocery shopping is totally NOT my favorite chore however I find it really helpful for the budget to go weekly. And I spend my set budget every week. And plan meals around what is available.

  4. I do hope you finally move this year - it has taken so long, and it must interfere somewhat - it's nice to be settled. Good luck with budgeting, family time, garden time and time for Judy - a very well balanced goal sheet with all your values clearly defined.

  6. Your goals are heartfelt goals and love each one of them. Spending time with the family is truly valuable. Kind of funny I just heard on the radio while I was rushing around this "be less perfect and more present" the jest was its ok not to have the house perfect, but its more precious to be present for our family and friends" . Yours are pretty close to mine, and I am
adding a little more "me time" too, because I'm a "people
    pleaser"

    2. I'm doing well. Back to work and just started a quilt, so hopefully I'll be back blogging soon. The baby is doing very well. I don't know much about babies, but she seems like a good one.
