Lots of work had been done.. And lots
more to  be done...Just wanted to show you what we
have been up to.
My house.. We have lived here for  over 20 yrs. I love this house. We have it for sale, and when it sales , we will
move to the "old house".
But. Kenny bought 53 acres when he retired.. It has a fruit
orchard,  Beautiful old trees, and the best garden , we have ever had. And he loves it.

We have done LOTS of work  on the old house and  have lots
more to do. I will share some  photos of the inside later.

    1. Dorothy, you are so right.. After hubby retired/and bought this 53 acre place. we spent a lot of time there.. But soon discovered, he was just not able to upkeep 2 houses ..[each has about 3 acres to mow..eeeh]. It is really peaceful and quiet out there, even though it is smaller than our now house, it is just the 2 of us now..So we don't need the extra space.
      Have a great day.

  7. What a lot of work - it's not easy, renovating an old house, takes full time commitment. You must have some mixed feelings about moving from time to time, so I hope you enjoy moving in due course.

    1. Sarahliz, I do have such mixed emotions, We have lived on our property for 35 yrs , built our house 20 yrs ago ...so leaving it is really hard..But, we love it in the country, and has so many extra things [fruit tree of all kinds, pecan tree, hazel nut tree, wonderful garden place, etc] I know we will enjoy living there IF we ever get it completed.ha
