Dining area... The arch way comes off the big hall. The door you see, is a small broom closet ..It too, has shelves on one wall. It holds the extra paper towels, cleaning supplies. |

You've certainly done a lot of work to make your cottage charming. You deserve to enjoy it! I'm sorry to hear about your septic problem - and that you have to lay more sod. So frustrating, expensive, and as you say, hard to do in the heat.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarahliz. We have the septic system fixed. and today we are going to lay more sod..Hope this is the last time. ha.. Hope you have your plumbing fixed too.
DeleteI love your kitchen, Judy, and all that painted furniture! Have you ever used a sprayer? A. gave me a quick lesson, but that means I'll need to do it outside before winter...maybe I'll just paint (smile).
ReplyDeleteThank you Deedy. Nope , never used a sprayer. But, I bet , it would be so much quicker. You will have to tell me how it works? smile
DeleteJudy, your kitchen and dining area look so fresh and bright. Love the curtains you made. Yum, chocolate chip and pecan cookies! Will have to make me some when my taste buds return!
ReplyDeleteThank you Bless... It was really bad, when we bought this place.. the floors rotting out, the cabinets were awful...they were a dark stain on them.. and so greasy, I cleaned and cleaned them, to be able to paint them..eeeeh!!! The bottom halve was a very scratched up paneling.. We painted the bottom a light yellow and a white top. It really brightened things up. We added molding, as their was none in there.. The ceiling had to be replaced too.
DeleteWish you could come and eat some of these cookies with us.. This is a great recipe.
