Fabric- 2 yds--[from my stash? not sure where it came from..does that tell
you, I have too much fabric?ha]
Pattern- super easy..Will definitely make again.
Notes: I added a facing to this ,instead of bias binding. The fabric has bits
of yellow in it, thus the yellow buttons, Sorry the photo didnt show this
clearly.
My friend, Cathe..bought this pattern , about the same time as I did..[Neither
of us ,knew the other had it,ha]. Check hers out.. It is beautiful !! She made it
out of the most beautiful Liberty Lawn.

So Sweet! I love it. It's nice to have an open neckline without having a really open neckline. This is a great sewing pattern for summer and spring. I may have to get this one too. You look beautiful!

I love this top...it looks so comfortable! I've been hooked on dresses lately, but I've been thinking about doing a couple of blouses/skirt combos for summer. I, too, have a mysterious stash pile...I think the elves leave it at night!

I too love the dresses.. But, I have been doing some blouses and skirts lately.. I made a blue skirt for this top ,but didnt get a picture of it yet..Will post later.

ReplyDeleteCathe..you are tooo funny---- Yep.. the hair is pulled back in a pony tail [it is 95 degrees, hot and humid] and I had been cleaning house... Emily came and I got her to take these photos.. So.. no beautifying.. just the regular ole pulled back hair, that hadn't been combed since morning.lol But thankyou for always being so sweet...
