New Look 6104

New Look 6104
Fabric- 2 yds--[from my stash? not sure where it came from..does that tell
you, I have too much fabric?ha]
Pattern- super easy..Will definitely make again.

Notes: I added a facing to this ,instead of bias binding. The fabric has bits
of yellow in it, thus the yellow buttons, Sorry the photo didnt show this
clearly.
My friend, Cathe..bought this pattern , about the same time as I did..[Neither
of us ,knew the other had it,ha]. Check hers out.. It is beautiful !! She made it
out of the most beautiful Liberty Lawn.

I also made a blue linen skirt to go with this blouse.. I didn't get a photo
of it...so it will post later..
Happy sewing to each of you.

  1. So Sweet! I love it. It's nice to have an open neckline without having a really open neckline. This is a great sewing pattern for summer and spring. I may have to get this one too. You look beautiful!

  2. Hi Judy!

Just stopped in for a moment for lunch...I've been out with Josh helping him catch up on some of his lawns. Imagine me with a trimmer...dangerous!

I love this top...it looks so comfortable! I've been hooked on dresses lately, but I've been thinking about doing a couple of blouses/skirt combos for summer. I, too, have a mysterious stash pile...I think the elves leave it at night!

    Have a blessed weekend!
    Love,
    Laura

  4. Judy,

I love your blouse, fabric and happy yellow buttons. You wear with ease and comfort. It really is the ideal pattern! Do you have your hair pulled back, it looks so pretty that way and frames your face with beautiful curls. Lovely photos my friend!

  5. Thankyou Cathe, As you know..it is so easy to make .. and really comfortable to wear.
Cathe..you are tooo funny---- Yep.. the hair is pulled back in a pony tail [it is 95 degrees, hot and humid] and I had been cleaning house... Emily came and I got her to take these photos.. So.. no beautifying.. just the regular ole pulled back hair, that hadn't been combed since morning.lol But thankyou for always being so sweet...
