  9. Judy....oh my, this turned out lovely! And, yes, fitting our muslins as we mature...sigh...work, but necessary, and worth every minute of the time. Everything 'shifts'! Went zipper-hunting today, and was dismayed at the price+quality of the fabric I saw...but have some close-by shops to hunt out! Keep at it...you inspire me!

  10. Hi Deedy,
thankyou so much.. You are so sweet..
I agree fabric price and quality is really bad now adays.. I am one of those people that watch the fabric stores for sales.ha.

  12. Dear Judy,

You look like a princess! I just love the color...unfortunately, yellow hasn't always loved me. I just found a summery yellow/orange combination that I'm going to try...I'll let you know how it turns out!

BTW, how is your sweetie doing lately? We continue to hold you both up in prayer. Has he been to the physical therapist much this spring?

    Sweet blessings, dear one,
    Laura

    1. Hi Laura, now "princess look alike".. I don't think so.hahhahaha.
Thankyou so much. I really like the wrap dress, but I have had soooooooo much trouble getting one to work.. ALl the patterns are too low cut and when I try to raise the neckline ,it would mess up the fold over.eeeeeeeeh.. But found this vintage pattern, and it worked.yea!!!
Kenny did start PT and went about 5 wks, it made him worse, and the doctor stopped it for now. So he has kinda had a set back.. But we know God is with us and it will all get better. He has plans for His children.. we must be patient and wait upon Him.. Sometimes this is very hard for me..
      Hugs sweet Laura.

    2. OK, OK, if you don't want to be "princess"...you can be the "queen" and I'll be the "princess"! And we'll wear matching Minnie Mouse dresses!

Continuing to pray for Kenny. One of our dearest friends and neighbors, Bob, was just diagnosed with spinal stenosis...he can't even walk out to the end of his driveway with severe pain. They've started water therapy...but he is very discouraged. Back pain is one of the worst pains there is, I think.

      With love and hugs,
      Laura

OK Princess... we will "think about" our minnie mouse outfits..hahaha

    1. thankyou so much. I really like this dress and it is so easy and comfortable to wear.
I have bought several modern wrap dress patterns, but they are too low cut. and every time ,I tried to raise the neckline, it messed up the wrap part.. So frustrating.ha I found this vintage pattern on ebay, and it was so easy..
If you can't find this pattern, I will be glad to copy it off for you..It is a larger size, [which i needed, yuck!] but you could grade it down to fit you? Just let me know. I dont mind at all.

    2. Bless you! I know what you mean about low cut. I made a top and cut the neck line at a size 8 (that is NOT my size but I thought it would be the highest neck) Needless to say it was still too low. I made a white cami with lace look-a-like so I can bend over without showing all.

  15. This is such a great dress! I think it would be perfect for an Olivia style if you modified the collar. Wrap dresses are so flattering and comfortable aren't they?! I love how this one looks on you : )
I'd be happy to send you a copy of my pattern to you if you'd like it - just shoot me an e-mail ; )
