Making Summer PJ'S [Colette Violet Pattern]

Summer PJ's
[I  am so ready for spring!!!]

Two Toast Made several pairs of comfy pj's..After  seeing
them.. I decided I needed to make my self some. I liked
her button up loose style, for comfort.  After checking
all my pj  patterns, I didn't have a button up top.. So,
I  decided to use the Colette Violet blouse pattern, for
the top.. [Just  enlarged it from my regular 14 to a 16
and added 2 inches to the length]
I wanted some cool summery fabric, I had this cute orange
floral stretch cotton.. But not enough to do both top
'and pj pants.. So, I made the pj pants out of  an orange
gingham check..
Check out Two Toast 's blog, to see her cute pj's.

Now.. when spring gets here.. I have new pj's just
                                                Waiting to be worn...

  3. Oh goodness, friend, those look SO summery and delightful! We only have about 4 weeks of snow left here in the frozen tundra. Weekend forecast? 10-12 more inches.... ENOUGH.....My flannel is wearing quite thin! Looking forward to lighter weight clothing and some spring sewing. Have a sketch of a 20's or 30's shift I want to make in cotton. Just need to get me some grid paper and work it out. Keep you posted.... D.

  9. I love your PJ'S!
I haven't bought a Colette pattern yet. Did it sew up easy and was the fit, true to size on pattern?

    1. Thank you Sherry..
I love Colette's patterns.. I have bought several of them.. The instructions are very easy to follow.. They run a little bigger than the big 4 patterns.. I think I read, that they are based on a D cup.. I always cut a size smaller in her patterns.. [Makes me feel better ,any way,ha]
