Fall Cleaning has Started.. Porch & Windows... Finally--Got the carport put In.

The carport was ordered 11 weeks ago.. They FINALLY
came  this week, and installed it.
The porch chairs, were taken out and sprayed with 
clorox water and rinsed.. They sure look better.
NOTE..click on the photo , to see it better. Sorry the
photos are so bad.. Sun was too bright..[and it was
too hot [100 degrees], to take more.ha]

The porch was emptied, and the walls, floor and
porch railing washed and mopped.


               Snapped a photo of the flower/water pump area, 
              During , one of my breaks..

      Thank you Vickie.. My plans were to start fall cleaning in Sept. , but thought I would get a head start , and get the porch done..

      Thankyou Angela.. We love the porch... spend alot of time out there. I am so looking forward to fall and the cooler temps..

    The car port??? Yippee!! (finally) The porch looks so clean...hopefully the weather will cool and you'll get to enjoy many fall weeks there. D

      YEp.... finally got the carport [it was a little bigger than we thought, but at least , it got the cars out of the front yard, and out of the weather..yea.
      Hoping for some cooler weather soon..

      Thanks Maryanne.. I am so happy to FINALLY get the carport. Hubby called them and told them... we REALLY wanted it before winter.. I was beginning to wonder????? ha

    That's a beautiful porch, Judy. I'm sure you'll be able to enjoy it a lot as the weather gets cooler. I'm jealous of your water pump - what an efficient water source for your garden!

    Bless your heart, working in that heat is hard. I love the hand pump. Our water table is deep here; too deep for a hand pump but I remember them from my childhood in Michigan and they held the very best water.

      Robin, it is sooooo hot .. I will be proud to see fall come [though , I know it won't last long.ha]
      The pump belonged to my husband's brother.. It doesn't work,it is just concreted in.. ha Pretty to look at though.ha

    I love your porch! Have always wanted a porch, but don't have one. It's too hot to do fall cleaning. I'm going to wait until October!

      thank you Bless.. I too, wanted a porch. .My other house [i lived there for 35 yrs] did not have a porch..So, we are really enjoying it.
      It is hot.. but, I have central air [so blessed] so it is pretty cool in the house..
