Happy New Years...2017

Happy new Years to each of you. I pray you
                   had a wonderful Christmas.

It seems that 2016, just went by way too fast..  Lots
of good times.. Lots of sadness, [We lost Kenny's
mom and Daughter in law's mom]..

I am not going to do any  New Years Resolutions.. you
know the , 'gonna diet" etc.. eeech.  I am going to say,
My goals and hopes for 2017 is  to be able to  do more
sewing....   To take the time to do things that we enjoy,
And for me , that is.... sewing, crafting, organizing,
gardening, working in my yard, spending time with
those grandkids that  have almost grown up on me.
             SMILE...

Thank you for coming by my little blog..  I enjoy your
friendship so much. May God bless you this new year
            2017.

  1. I love the little picture you posted today. So cute!
Happy new year to you, too. I hope I get to sew more this year, too. It's challenging because things are still mixed up and we ended up buying my daughter, Ja'Ana, a new pair of left-handed scissors.....watching her try to cut out was ridiculous! I'm sure the old ones will turn up soon because we got that nice, new pair.

    1. Ha,ha Becky.. I can just see Ja'Ana cutting with the new scissors.. too funny.. You are right, once you replace a lost item.. the old is found.. Happens every time. I love to sew, but this past year ,we sold our house, redid an old house.. So there was just no time.. Happy New years.

  9. Dear friend, I trust the dear Lord will grant every one of your wishes here...may you find time to do all that your heart is longing to do. Life is going by so quickly, in spite of all we try to do to cherish the moments...they slip through our fingers so fast. Enjoy every second God gives you, and may 2017 be especially happy for you. I am so sorry to hear of the losses you suffered this past year and trust Jesus to comfort every one of your hearts.

I am so sorry...it is so difficult to lose loved ones...even when we know that they are with the Lord. Praying that the New Year brings so much joy to you and Gary...and that you have lots and lots of time to sew!

  15. Hi Judy! How are you doing? Have you recovered from Christmas? It was so much fun but came and went in the blink of an eye.

I need to start on a few home projects soon. One is to paint our daughter's metal bistro table and chairs but I need a few days of clear weather.

Yesterday we discovered that our sweet 10 year old greyhound, Shelby, has bone cancer in her shoulder. We don't know how long she has but we plan to keep her comfortable as long as we can. It's never easy to lose a pet because they're family members for us. We'll get thru it with lots of prayer.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

You've really turned your home into the sweetest and coziest space in such a short amount of time. You and your hubby should be very proud.

I so enjoy reading your new blog posts to see what you've been up to.

Thanks for popping by to comment! Have a blessed day!!!!
