| 2018 Tops That Pop Sew a Long I am excited to join the group at the 2018 top sew along. Faye at -http://fayessewingadventure.blogspot.com/ is hosting the sew along. You can read all about it on her blog. It is a really fun and un-stressful sew a-long. You get to make the top or tops you wish to make, simple or more complicated, choose your pattern, and choose the amount of tops you want to make in the 2 week time period. Faye is a very talented sewer. She makes some beautiful clothes. And also a very sweet lady. NOTE: I have been missing in action for some time.. SO sorry.. I will blog about this later.. Have missed all of you. |

Miss you, Judy! You know it’s STILL on my to do list to properly thread my mom’s machine? She says it doesn’t work, but I know it does. She just doesn’t thread it right. You should see the beautiful work the seamstress did for my bridal party. She teaches kids’ sewing classes in her dining room, and I’m so jealous of her dining room. Most bridesmaids, myself, my daughter and stepdaughter all went together for fittings, and afterwards my dad treated us all to a big dinner at a Cantina. I worked with my seamstress’s foster son as a volunteer child advocate, and we lied about it being his birthday so he could get a sombrero and free dessert. I don’t think foster dad was too pleased with “the lie”, though. Eh, we were having fun and the child advocates’ birthday celebrations have been hugely cut anyway. Have fun sewing.
