Thrift Store Finds. Januaray 2013

Fabric -  Even though I know, I don't need to buy fabric..I need
to de-stash.. Girls , this was  a total of 10 yards for $2.00. Cute
prints for the grandkids.
Beautiful milk glass pitcher and plate on left [Already had the bigger
one on the right, found it at the same thrift store]. Aren't they pretty
together? Love this find.

I so agree ,when you find anything for 99 cents a yard.. you gotta have it.
I didnt post it, but I went to Tupelo [where my fabric stores are] and each store was having sales, I came home with 2 huge bags of mostly knits.. I had just made the tshirt and I wanted some knits.. [Good excuse,Judy!!! lol]

  5. Good Morning Sweet Judy!

Oh, I love your finds...I am so jealous! Wish we could "thrift" together!! They'd probably throw the pair of us out of the store! HA! By the way, I have some of the exact same fabric (the "school" print) which I love...and I, too, need to desperately destash! Fortunately, one of my son's friend's mom wants to learn to sew...so we are going to spend some afternoons together working on a few simple patterns...using up some of my "mounds" of material!

Hope you and Kenny are doing well...sorry I haven't written in awhile...time just seems to fly by...much too quickly.

    Love,
    Laura

    1. Laura,
I so wish we could thrift/sew together..What fun we would have , and you are so right sister..we probably would be thrown out.lol
I am so jealous of you having a friend to teach to sew and have such fun evenings together sewing.. None of my friends sew or have the desire to learn [and believe me, I try to PUSH them to like it.ha]

  6. I just love the milk glass. It's so pretty.I agree that it's so hard to pass up fabric at the thrift shop as my overflowing bins can attest!
