Turtle Applique T-shirts for Little Girls Basketball Team [Of couse it has to be Pink!!!]

Turtle's Basketball Shirts
My friend, emailed me and ask if I could
find some pink turtle fabric to make shirts
for the 7/8 yr old girls that she coached
basketball?? I searched everywhere... but no
pink turtles.  So, suggested, that I applique
a turtle on the pocket.. She loved the idea.
And so did the girls.. 

 I had to make 10 of these.. Such fun..
You see the team is named Turtles.. and
of course, each little girl WANTED the shirt
to be pink.. of course the Turtle's Ruled the
court..thus their name...

Christmas Cactus
Showed its beauty, just in time for  Christmas
holiday visitors.

January has been a really cold/dreary weather month..
[Oh how I am ready for sunny spring to arrive.ha]
But this pretty little peach cactus  decided to bloom.
God brings  sunshine in all kinds of ways.

    10? Goodness, Miss Industrious one! Plus they are awesome. A lot of turtle-que-sweetness. Wish I could play on their team. D.

      I think you and I need us a Turtle shirt too.. We could be sister turtles.haha
      wonder would the girls let us play on their team? [yep... I kinda doubt it.]

      Thank you DIanna.. They are so pretty when they bloom, but the rest of the year... not pretty at all.. I have had the big one for 10+ years, and am tempted to throw it away .when it gets ugly..ha

      Thank you Stacy. I am so happy that the girls liked them.
      I think these cactus would grow for anyone..I have tried to ignore [kill..how horrible of me] the big one.. IMPOSSIBLE.. They are so ugly after the bloom, I get tired of tending to them. for this one week of blooms.ha.. Then , when they bloom, I change my mind.ha

    Thank you Cathe.. The shirts were sweet and well received..Always a plus.
    My 'use to be pretty" cactus, is all done now, and not so pretty ,ha.. But.. beautiful and enjoyable while it last.lol
