Valentines Day Sewing & Apple Pie for Kenny
Valentine Skirts and Monogrammed Tees for my friend's girls.. Happy Valentines Day.
Love the pretty new fonts.. Yes.. I am playing..
Valentine Apple Pie for Kenny.. Topped with vanilla ice cream.. I think he was pretty happy over this "unexpected" Valentine Present.. He is a pretty special fellow.
Hope each of you , have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
The skirts and shirts are so cute! My daughter is tall and slender. I have been thinking about taking some of her t-shirts and just adding a skirt to them, gathered and sewed to the bottom hem, for drop-waist dresses for summertime. She keeps growing and her pants get short before they are too small in the waist, so we could do those dresses all summer and it wouldn't matter. (I'd make them mid-calf, most likely). I hadn't thought of adding a coordinating pocket, but I think I will, now that I've seen your work! :)
Nice outfits and thanks for sharing the apple pie. I made a raw apple cake two weeks ago from the internet. It was good. Hope everyone enjoy their special items.
Ooooh , I love fresh apple cake.. [I could sit and eat nearly the hole thing , by myself.ha] Thank you, I think the girls enjoyed the valentine clothes.
Thank you Charlotte.. I don't feel very productive..most of what i do, is just simple sewing.ha..[Plus,my family is grown and gone..so I am sure I have more free time..ha] So happy your sewing and crafting and blogging again, I missed you. Kenny said the pie was wonderful...[but he would say that anyway.ha]
Such cute little outfits and the color combinations are sew complimentary. Very nice. Ahhh....that Kenny is a blessed man indeed! YUMMY! Take care and happy sewing!
Oh, dear Judy...what a "sweet" gift for your sweetie! We LOVE apple pie here...along with apple crisp...applesauce...well, anything apple! I hate to admit it...but I haven't done much of any embroidery on my machine...this winter has just been too crazy! Hope to real soon though...love your new fonts! Stay warm! Love ♥ Laura
