Butterick 4743[1970's pattern]


This dress was really simple to make and very comfortable to wear.. Sorry the
photos do not  pick it up very well..

    1. Thankyou Doobee.. I didn't alter the sleeve length..This was the pattern length [Probably because it it is a 70's pattern]. I really like the fabric. I had it in my stash for a looooooooong time, and forgot ,I had it.. Does that tell you,I have TOO much fabric.lol

    1. Thankyou Cathe, The photo really didn't show it well.. It was so windy, it was hard to get a photo..[plus poor ole Kenny , don't have much to photograph.lol].
      The dress is really comfortable.. I wore it to church with heels and stockings, I came in and put on flip flops and headed to the store.. So, it will definitely be an all around dress. And I love that it was so easy to make.. I find that the 70's patterns I have found, are really easy..

    1. Thankyou Gina, I really liked this pattern.. It was really simple and easy to wear. Next time, I think I will change the collar..Its kinda big.. but otherwise,like it just the way it is..

  7. That is SUCH a lovely dress. It looks like you can wear it anywhere by dressing it up or down. Your photos are gorgeous and the red shoes are so sweet. I love that fabric, I think I have some in my stash too!
