YUM! I love warm peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream... delicious! :)-Heatherwww.stringtownhome.net
Heather... You have said it so right...nothing like adding the ice cream..
Peach cobbler sounds great!!
It was really good.. [Only problem...I eat too much, Kenny doesn't like it, none of the kids showed up to eat... so guess what? I eat too much, lol]
Ha is right! He is 'paying' you with more work! Really though, fresh peaches? Nothing better...D. We got blueberries from a friend yesterday, but so far, not much is 'in' yet. Beans in about 3 weeks, but most of my putting-by is in August-Sept.
Deedy... knew you would enjoy "my pay". lolOur garden is just now starting to come in.. Purple hull peas will be ready by end week ---- here comes work.. But, want they all taste good this winter? Did you put the blue berries up or make cobbler?
Oh my goodness MAW...this cobbler looks so yummy! No excuses necessary for the pan - the more "seasoned" the better in my opinion, I have several of them myself and will not part with them!...now I'm hungry!
Thank you .. Wish you were here... I would share with you.. [It was yummy!!!]
OOH! That looks so delicious!! What's your recipe??? ;)
THank you stacy.. It is really good. It is an old recipe that I have had forever. I will email it to you..

Yum! I bet that is fantastic! I love peaches, and I've noticed they smell so fantastic now when they are fresh. That always surprises me every year!
I agree Stacie, they are so much better, straight off the tree.. The smell is wonderful!!! And the cobbler was HEAVENLY!!![But I sure didn't need to eat all that buttery /sugary dessert.ha
