Wrap Dress FInished - Navy/lt blue floral

My version of  Olivia Walton's wrap dress. Made from
a  navy and light blue floral fabric. Has white collar
with light blue stitching around it.. [Sorry ,for the bad
photos.. My camera is about gone[sad].
My light blue cardigan , that I found at the thrift store
last year, is just perfect.
Close up of fabric.  This is the best fit of any of the
Olivia Wrap dresses, I have made. The neckline
is modest .The skirt has plenty of room to cross over. I
would like to thank  Eva  for all her help and
inspiration. Please check out her blog to see the
adorable Olivia Walton dresses , she has created.

Olivia Walton's Green hectagon wrap dress. I love
this fabric.. But, I couldn't find anything similar to it.
But, I will keep on looking.. Now, that the dress
is fitting so well, I will be making more of them.
It is the most comfortable dress, for church or
working around the house.. Just perfect!!!

  5. J..awesome job..and such a wonderful fit, too. Put me on the list to wear it on Tuesdays?! (Really, I always wanted a sister so I could raid her closet) Thanksgiving blessings to your family. Were those wreaths on your windows? Yikes, and I meant to paint some snowflakes on the shop window this week. Not done yet...got sidetracked sewing 4 aprons last night/this a.m. Daughter requested my thanksgiving ones, and I can't find the box!!! Maybe our weekend company will help me paint? D.

    1. Thank you Deedy...Now.. I really think Tuesdays should be your day ..lol I enjoyed wearing it, it is the most comfortable dress , I own. We can be long distant sisters... [of course kinda hard to raid closets that far away, lol] I have 3 sisters, but we never could raid each others closets. We 4 are totally opposite in sizes and heights..We don't even look alike, none of us.ha
      Sewing aprons ..sounds fun.
Yep.. that is my Christmas Wreaths on the windows.. I had worked on redoing them [changing ribbons and pinecones,etc]..SO, when I finished, I put them on the windows, so they wouldn't get mashed.ha After Thanksgiving is over, I am going to dO Christmas tree..
Hope your company helps you paint.. and hope you and family have a very blessed and happy Thanksgiving.. hugs my sister!!!

    1. Thank you Justine, I have been working on making an Olivia look alike dress. But could never get the pattern just right. A friend helped me tremendously.. I did start out with a vintage pattern.. The modern patterns are just too low cut for me..
